The industrial production process often gives rise to hazardous waste that can be corrosive, flammable, toxic and infectious. This is why specialized technical methods for safety treatment are needed, to minimize the industrial risks and potential impacts on the environment.
Currently, SUEZ NWS is either operating or constructing seven hazardous waste treatment facilities in China, four of which have been put into operation, with total annual treatment capacity of 210,000 tons. These are all equipped with energy recovery systems that uses waste heat to produce steam supplied to companies. Today our projects are benchmarks in the field of hazardous waste treatment.
