Introducing the most advanced water treatment technologies to China
Treatment Infrastructure (formerly “Degrémont”) is the first business unit that SUEZ NWS launched in Mainland China. As early as 1975, it built the first wastewater treatment plant in Liaoyang. Over the last four decades, we have built more than 300 water treatment facilities in Greater China. Nearly a hundred million people in China benefit from the plants we have built.
Based on the parent group's strong technical strengths, we have introduced a number of proprietary technologies to China. These are widely used in all kinds of water, wastewater and sludge treatment facilities in the Country, including: Aquazur®, Densadeg®, Biofor®, CabarzurTM activated carbon filtration, Aquadaf®, ozone technology, OxyBlueTM, Thermylis®, Innodry®2E, and so on. SUEZ’s Degrémont® Water Handbook, developed by the group, is known as the "Bible of Water Treatment", and is a widely used textbook by the environment academics across Chinese universities.
